Atlanta with a 10 month old?

Would like some good restaurant recs for lunch, dinner in Atlanta, staying Downtown, but will have a car. Must accept children as we'll have our 10 month old son with us. After searching boards, considering Farm Burger and Ria's Bluebird. Thanks in advance.

Both are good choices. Farm Burger is in Decatur and you can walk around the square and shop/have dessert or a beer before or after your meal. You can take Marta (drops you off right in the middle of everything) if you don't want to fool with parking. The restaurants in Decatur are very kid-friendly. Since you are downtown, I would also consider Midtown, since it's a quick and easy drive. South City Kitchen, the Vortex, Atmosphere Bistro, & Tamarind Seed are some of my favorites. I'd hit up Piedmont Park if it's not too hot--there's a great playground, small lake, and pool.

I would strongly recommend against the Vortex. It's a loud bar that serves burgers. It's also 18 and over I believe.

Yep, Vortex avoided complying with the smoking ordinance by booting everyone under 18.

I agree on Decatur as being a great destination. Might add Bocado on the west side to the list also.
