Seafood between Houston & Galveston

At one time there were some good restaurants for seafood along the way, but what happened
to them? Did they all get wiped out by IKE or have I just forgotten how to ffind them? Clifton's
by the Sea and Topwater Grill, just to name two. Is Gilhooley's still around? I haven't been
over that way in a few years and would like to find these the next time I go. Thanks for any information on these and other seafood places along that route.

Little Daddy's Gumbo Bar in League City right off of I-45 is really good. Also Floyd's on I-45 at Nasa Road One in front of the Garden Ridge.

Thanks for the update on Topwater Grill and Gilhooley's. I do consider San Leon "on the way"
from Houston to Galveston. From where I live, ANYTHING within a 300 mile radius is "On the way" to somewhere!! Being a food loving road warrior I'll drive miles for good seafood/any food!

Gilhooley's is still there and still very good. I don't really know of any non-chains on the way though. I wouldn't even call San Leon '"on the way." You might check this thread or similar threads found in the Houston forum:
