Seafood Paella

Any recommendations....and don't suggest anyplace that uses green muscles!

  1. Cafe Seville on E. Oakland Park Blvd, East of US1. Makes a nice paella. Don't know what kind of mussels they use

            I'm from NY too... But I know that you lift your dinner utensils with your MUSCLES and then use them to pick the MUSSELS out of your paella.

            My best guess would be a) make your own or b) be prepared to pay a LOT if you don't want to be disappointed.

            Paella is labor intensive and a good one is food-cost intensive, what with: chorizo, chicken, shrimp, clams, mussels. And oh did I mention saffron?

        1. Casa Juancho has surprisingly good paella! Just make sure you're either ravenous or dining with another person. You must order a minimum of two orders for about $28 per person and they're tremendous portions. I'm yet to try La Dorada, but I've heard good things too.
