King Crab Legs in the area??

Hello,

Good friends birthday celebration dinner is on tap. He is a lover of the King Crab leg. I was wondering what suggestions the board may have for King Crab in the area. The plan is currently Truluck's. .But willing to try others.

I guess after watching Deadliest Catch I get that they are all processed the same.

Thanks I look forward to the responses

Walt J .

Here is a link to info on King crab, overfishing cautions, viable alternatives, sourced countries and the seafood watch chart. http://www.chefs-resources.com/Red-Ki...

Each country will have their own processing regulations.

        Cocoa,

Thanks for the info. Great read. I better understand where these legs come from. I guess the thing I dont understand based on my reading is if Russian Crab is invasive wouldn't overfishing benefit to help eradicate?

Hi Walt.... seems to be a popular current events topic of curiosity.
