Vegetarian/Vegan Upscale in southeast Mi??!

  • 7

Hey all! Wednesday is our one year anniversary being vegan! Yay! Unfortunately, I have no idea where to go for dinner. Are there any more upscale or fancy places around here that have vegetarian or vegan dishes? We live in novi and would travel up to an hour. We also love all kinds of food! And let's pretend for now that money is no option. Thanks again!

Yah, I guess I'm looking for something that isn't necessarily an all veg restaurant, but has vegan dishes that is more upscale than a cafe like Inn Season. Thats not too fancy. I don't know. Is there a fancy indian restaurant, ethiopian, middleeastern, mexican... Just upscale with vegan dishes?

    2. Asian and Indian restaurants are good choices for vegetarians. If you want to stay vegan, you'd probably be better off with asian since they rarely use dairy.

I think Mon Jin Lau in Troy would be worth considering

Seva in Ann Arbor might also be a consideration. Vegetarian and many vegan dishes:

          You're very welcome shadyangel.

I really hope you enjoy it . I'm neither vegan nor vegetarian, but I know I always enjoy
Mon Jin Lau. It's one of my favorites.

      2. Try Jolly Pumpkin in Ann Arbor. Menu is mostly vegetarian/local, and they have some $20-$25 entrees every night, plus great housemade beers/drinks. Great back patio with tables available on weeknights. Not exactly fancy, but a step above the ordinary run of places.

        1. This is too late, it seems, but I'd throw Sweet Lorraine's into the mix. They always have vegetarian options that look interesting.
