Chinatown Meat Skewer Stand- Delish!

I took the plunge and tried the Lamb skewer stand in Toronto's Chinatown. It is a no frills stall. But upon inspection, meticulously clean. They are efficiently using their tiny space. Running water, refridgeration and a cute little work space. Gas BBQ slowly grills lamb, chicken and beef skewers. They also sell roast sweet potatoes. For $1.50/skewer I was impressed. Tender non-gamey fresh lamb slowly and carefully tended by a sweet young guy. At the end, they are seasoned with just the right amount of cumin and what looked like seasoning salt (but not absolutely sure what the second spice was?) The meat was well marbled without being fatty and looked very fresh raw. Great street food. Nice carmelization of the meat too. Not sure the name of the stand but it says "Lamb Skewers" and has photo's on the signage. Looking forward to trying the chicken!

Location: On the North East corner of Dundas and Spadina.

This is xinjiang style lamb skewers so you know.

I had it a while ago, it was so so imo. The skewers I had uptown at the Xinjiang restaurant in metro square were better.
