lunch in Kennebunkport

I'm looking for recommendation for a great place to have lunch in Kennebunkport. Doesn't have to be upscale as long as the food is great.

or try try upstairs from ramp, Pier 77, more upscale but still very good and not overly pricey. Also terrific view &great setting.

Please don't go to any of the places IWantFood suggested - they are pedestrian and touristy. For the best lunch in town, go to the Ramp. Best burger, fried clams, lobster roll and mussels with a million dollar view!

I can say the same about what you suggested, majik. And I never found the ones I suggested to be so. And in tourist season, every restaurant becomes "touristy".

Personally, I think Allison's lobster roll is over-rated. It's fine, but not excellent. Maybe I hit them on an off day....

I'm also not a big fan of Alison's. Maine Diner may be touristy, but they have a great lobster roll.
