I just returned from Noodle World, as much as I wanted to enjoy it, the food was hideous.

The idea of food from various parts of asia does work just not here.

I was so hoping to experience the same taste as Noodle House in Ocean Beach-San Diego.

Same exact premise done right, this Noodle World chain will be a failure.

I attempted to eat the spicy wing and they came out over cooked & hard, with a sauce that was not flavorful.

For my dish I had the Tom Yum Noodle Soup which was average, I'll stick to ordering this at Swan Thai.

This elderly couple next to me started a conversation and said how sad they were in losing the Thai spot previous in this spot.

I had to tell them to venture over to Sherman Way for authentic Thai Food.

I gave it a shot and I won't return.

Dang. That's hard to hear. I LOVED the Noodle World in Alhambra, but it's been over 10 years (eek!) since I ate there. I guess it has gone downhill.

I would be interesting to hear from folks who have eaten at the one n the SGV who are able to compare it to the Sherman Oaks one.

They sent out a notice that they are doing "noodle star" for franchise reasons. So you're good : )

Actually I've never eaten at a Noodle World. Just want an alternative to Sam Woo and pho on Sepulveda.

Noodle World will only drive you back to Sam Woo and Pho So 1. Living in Santa Monica, I wish we had a Sam Woo and a Pho So 1. Hoping for 101 Noodle Express at Fox Hills to get their act together, as in, lose the french fries and get the dumplings in.

I LOVE the mint leaf chicken, topped with a deep fried egg. The egg is crispy yet creamy and goes so well with the spicy chicken. In the rice dish section.

I used to go to the San Marino location (easier to park than old town) and would get their phenomenal Veggie Hand Rolls. The last time I went, they were no longer on the menu, so I have not been back. I also always would get the Spicy Laht Na noodles and add my "special mix" (as my friends call it) of their various condiments that sit on each table. God, it's good. They really do have a huge menu. Would be hard not to find something you will like.

Went to Noodle World yesterday. Nice people running the place but highly disappointed with the food.

Noodle World is the Cheesecake Factory of Asian food. Expect nothing and you won't be disappointed. At least you won't be starving when the check comes.

It's been nearly 10 years since I've set foot inside one, which is about the same as McDonald's for me.
