Help please!!!!!!Visiting New york!

OK, so basically Ill be going to NYC in a couple days and ill stay for about a week or so. I wanted to get some help about where to eat and try the best of NYC.. Coming from Chicago and want to get different food.... No sushi, no Indian food ( Thai may be OK ), no Mexican.....IM staying in Queens ( Glendale) so any places near here will be great but, anyways ill travel all around NYC to get some food...Not too expensive cause im by myself, maybe one or 2 but solo dinning, looking around and searching some websites, So far I have made my list of where to go...

Any other restaurant?, street food cart?, hole in the wall?? buffet , bakery or bbq place??

*Also my bro and sis, will be there one day, we going Manhattan to do the tourist thing and i will like to go a place to eat, where would you go if u had couple hours there??? I want them to have a nice time and at the end, be able to say we visited new york, did the tourist things and ate like new Yorker...

What you think... Help me out with my list I will really appreciate, i know is a lot of questions but i have time... and also I will be taking pics and everything and make the reviews in a new post...and website..... thanks... Any suggestion will help, still have couple days before I leave, but i need to have my ultimate list, i know i wont be able to eat all this food, but ill try!!! :)

    1. In the interest of efficiency, if you go to the Upper East Side location of Shake Shack, you'll be able to walk right over to Two Little Red Hens for your cheesecake after your meal.

      1. For Latin, go to Caracas Arepa Bar. For a meal to remember go to Momofuku Ssam Bar and then go across the street for desert at Momofuku Milk Bar. Trust me do these things and you will be happy you did.

          1. I have not been to many of these but I can sayskip Yonah Shimels, If you are looking for a great sandwich I woul dsuggest Lamazou on 3rd and 26 or Defontes on 3rd and 21
