Blue Sky, New Hartford: one perfect dish

sweet potato fries with a curry-lime dipping sauce.
i was skeptical of the combination, and then i tried one. WOW. don't know what makes this work but the flavors were just plain fun.
Blue Sky is a funky little place on Rt 44. they do sandwiches and fried seafood things. super casual and quirky. BYOB.

I always drive by Blue Sky with the intention of stopping in! (especially with that sign out front advertising "BELLIES"...LOL) What else did you try? Curry lime dipping sauce sounds really tasty!

we have had their Cuban (very tasty), pulled pork sandwich (yummy but messy...you will need to hose down afterwards), crab cakes (not stellar but i am picky about those), chicken salad with walnuts (fun). i have probably also eaten a portabella sandwich at some point.
we jealously eye other peoples' plates piled very high with fried objects--they look great but i kinda can't eat that stuff anymore.
there are also baked goods that we have not yet sampled.
