Trying to decide between the two restaurants for a pre-theater dinner for two. I have 6pm reservations booked for both. Earlier in the week we are also going to EMP, Gotham, and DB Bistro Moderne. Thanks for the recommendations!

Just wanted to be sure you knew that War Horse is not in the regular "broadway theatre" district. It's at Lincoln Center which might make a difference to your pre-theatre dining plans (location).

Since War Horse is at Lincoln Center, Ma Peche would be closer. I just had two wonderful dinners at Ma Peche this week, so I highly recommend Ma Peche.

Had a great lunch there two weeks ago, so I second the recommendation (Also closer to Lincoln Center.)

Since your show is at Lincoln Center, I would suggest you consider having dinner at Lincoln. The food is superb, service is excellent, the ambaince is very pleasant, and you will be just steps away from you theater. Imo, this makes much more sense than eating anywhere in the Theater District.

Totally 2nd Lincoln. Excellent choice for pre-theatre at Licoln Center, if Italian suits you. Excellent food and service.

Thank you everyone. I needed that geography lesson.
