Reasonably-priced wine flights?

krystle920 Jul 8, 2011 12:04 PM

Any recommendations for restaurants with reasonably priced wine flights? We are looking to create our own wine pairing menu, but seems like most places pretty much just charge the actual cost of 3 glasses of wine as opposed to smaller pours. It would be great if there is a place with $10 wine flights or even up to $15. Looking for a restaurant that also serves good food, not just meats/cheeses. Thanks!

Thalia has a pre-fix with wine flight http://www.restaurantthalia.com/pdf/PT0512.pdf
The Monday Room also does wine flights. http://www.themondayroom.com/home.html

Reactivating this old thread, I'm interested as well. Lots of midtown/places with mediocre flights that are $15-20 each for 3 miserly pours.
If I'm paying $20/ I want either 3 exceptional wines or 3 generous purs. Come on chowhounders, can we have any better suggestions!!

Was at Cornelia Street Cafe last night and saw that they offer a variety of wine flights for $15. Didn't try one so don't know how generous a pour they are.
