Filipino food near Milwaukee, WI

I recently moved to the Milwaukee area and I'm trying to find some good Filipino home cooking. I would kill for some dinuguan right now. Cursory Google shows nothing of interest, so I'm hoping some locals can help me out. Please don't tell me I need to drive all the way to Chicago for some good pinoy eats!

I'm pretty sure that the only place you can come remotely close is La Merenda. La Merenda ( www.lamerenda125.com ) is a tapas restaurant whose food covers multiple nationalities. Traditional Filipino cuisine is a specialty of the chef-owner, Peter Sandroni, and occasionally they host special events featuring filipino dishes (such as the one noted at www.jsonline.com/blogs/lifestyle/52082217.html ). My recommendation is to contact them to see if they might be willing to arrange a dinner for you with the specific Filipino dishes you crave.

Oh, and if you do decide to go to Chicago, you'll find a list of Filipino restaurants there, at http://chicago.metromix.com/browse/re...
