Place to take my teenage sister tonight?

Need a suggestion for a place downtown to take my 16-year old sister tonight who is visiting the city. Want a place where someone her age won't look particularly out of place, but will seem fun and "New York-y" to her. Trying to go no more than $35 a person without drinks. Would love to be able to walk in, so we're flexible on time.

Past hits with her and friends have included Frankie's Spuntino, Motorino.

Any thoughts?

Otto has a cool, young vibe and has good food in your price range.

Right -- I was going to mention Otto, too. Also maybe the Artichoke Basille's in Chelsea. It's a nice place to sit and you can walk on the New York-y Highline before or after.

$35pp before drinks, and also before tax and tip?

If you can stand the wait, I'd try to walk into somewhere like maybe Spotted Pig or Lupa? New York-y + no reservations usually reads like a McNally, Chang, Bloomfield, Batali restarant request to me.

Before tax is tip is fine.

Would ideally not like to wait for a couple hours...
