From July 12 thru Sept 1, they are offering Wine deals on Wednesdays, free champagne (or 50% off house champagne by the bottle) to ladies who wear pearls on Thursday, and, on Tuesday, if you dress in "traditional New Orleans garb"(e.g. seersucker, hat, bow tie---they said nothing about distaff attire) you can put your business card in a bowl and enterya drawing for a free reserved table for Friday lunch.

Thanks for the info, will be at Galatoire's late July :-) Considering the last lunch we had there was $200 for 2 people, this is nice. It's still worth the $200 though. Love it!!

Galatoire's Bistro in Baton Rouge was doing something similar before they closed: a prix fixe lunch and half off most of their wines during the week. I took advantage of it several times.

BTW, they are supposed to re-open in a less out-of-the-way location, possibly in the Perkins-Acadian area.

Dog days of summer really slam the FQ restaurants and hotels.

Lunch and dinner (what's the difference, I ask?). They are also doing a prix fixe Tues-Thurs. that is supposed to get you back to the office in 45 minutes.
