dinner in Wakefield, RI?

Will be staying here for three nights at the end of July. Any recommendations for dinner? We'll be at the Folk Festival Sat-Sun but plan to come back to this area evenings. Would like to have at least one "can't miss" dinner (vegetarian friendly helps) and maybe something with a view. Thanks!

Crazy Burger would be a good veg option, they have a cute patio out back, but no view. Turtle Soup is right on the water in Narragansett, and can have a great view depending on the table you get. The deck at the Coast Guard House has a great view, but the food is forgettable at best. You're better off going there for a drink on the early side. These places are all in Narragansett.

In Matunuck you've got Matunuck Oyster Bar - great seafood food, and view of the pond where they grow their oysters. Expect a wait, it's a popular spot. Skip's dock is also fun - you can watch the fishing boats come and go from Pt. Judith.

Brickley's ice cream on Main Street is also a great post-dinner stop. Locally made and so delicious!

Could not agree more, but we are a Brickley's on Boston Neck Road family. Take it to go and drive up to URI bay campus and enjoy the view.
Geocachers there are a few caches there as well.

We live too close to Main Street to justify the drive to Narragansett. Though the downside is that we don't have soft serve whereas Boston Neck does...

That is a full Rhode Island if I have ever heard one. Can't justify drive from Wakefield to Narragansett.

Just having some fun. Jealous that you are too close to Downtown Wakefield to leave. It is one of my favorite villages in RI.

So where in Wakefield then please? We'll be beat and full of sun and heat I think, and it may be later in the evening since the festival goes until 7 now. Saturday and Sunday.

Thanks! We found nothing in Wakefield the night we were there, but did make it to Crazy Burger in Narragansett and had a great tempeh burger. Sides of slaw and bean salad were both very good.
