Burlington, VT Happy Hour?

I can't find much info about happy hour in Burlington. Does it exist? If so, where are some of your favorite spots for food/booze deals? Thanks!

  1. VT, like MA....does not permit the discount of alcholic beverages. It's a bit silly really, though there are some places that will heavily discount the food component to at least ease the final bill. RJ's next to the Flynn does cheap wings I believe.

Bummer. I had a feeling that was the case. Thanks for letting me know.

    2. Every Friday at the CineClub in Montpelier there's "Name That Movie" happy hour at 5PM (runs until a bit after 6PM). There's a trivia game (naming movies from video clips) and they usually have a $4 Switchback beer special.

      1. hi from ct shore CH talk in may. some suggestions from our trip last october:

we go to Burl every yr for vaca. and for brkfst, PENNY CLUSE is the bee's knees, esp. their mex items- esp their chiles rellenos plate w/ eggs on the side. you will not find better in new eng.

THE GREEN ROOM never gets mentioned on this board but ,, besides tratoria Delia, it is our go-to for great food in Burl. Lots of asian and mex influences; local products; talented chef owner.
tapas style- small med and entree size plates. big selection. You must get his duck tacos and his sushi- tuna avocado sesame app.
