lunch in Leslieville/Beaches

Can anyone make any recommendations for a good place to go for lunch in either Leslieville or the Beaches that has a patio. I'd settle for take out if there are no good recommendations for restaurants with a patio.

  1. While I can't comment on the quality of the food at all these places, they have patios.

    Leslieville:

Joy Bistro > I have had a few decent Lunches here
    Stratengers
The Ceili Cottage > Never ate here but been for drinks. Pub fare

    Beaches:

Murphy’s Law > Decent Pub fare
Lion on the Beach > Mediocre Pub Fare
    Beach Bird
The Gull and Firkin > Decent Pub fare
    Boardwalk Pub > Basic fare

Thank you so much for your recommendations, but do you have any suggestions for restaurants serving something other than pub fare?

There aren't a lot of spots with patios that do more than meh pub food at lunch time. More options in the evening.

Murphy's Law is an option, bonus points go to waitresses in school girl outfits!

      2. well the best food option for a lunch is probably Burger Priest at Coxwell and Queen, best burger in town!

I second that and take it to the park.

Never thought of that... good idea. BP and go sit at the water feature in the park and watch the swans.

There is also Le Papillion on the Park which is decent French.

We think alike JennaBean. Getting take out and going to the beach is exactly what I was thinking if I couldn't find someplace with a patio

Burger's Priest is a great idea! Thank you so much!

            3. Lil Baci has a nice back patio. Bonjour Brioche also has a few outdoor tables.

I really like the patio at Lil Baci. That's the first place I thought of. Another place might be Hanoi Three Seasons - they have a patio.

              2. Leslie Jones has a lovely patio out back.

I don't think either Hanoi 3 Seasons or Leslie Jones is open for lunch.

I'd personally ditch the patio idea and hit Queen Margherita Pizza. You can always hit a patio after for drinks or coffee.
