When we eat Downtown we usually make the Rounds of three Restaurants,
New Sky, Taste Of China, and Lee Gardens.
Our last few meals at New Sky were not bad, but a little disappointing.
On the other hand we had the best Vancouver Crab we have ever had in Toronto at at Taste of China last week.
Couldn't have been better
Going back tonight!!
Will the Crab be as fantastic, who knows?
You can have a good or bad meal at any of the Restaurants, so we are not writing off New Sky entirely.
Had the worst Lobster ever at Casa Imperial this week.
So you can get a bad Meal anywhere.
Should have had the Peking Duck!-----

Ended up at Casa Imperial because our friends did not want to meet us Downtown.
Had a totally tasteless Lobster grossly overcooked.
I am rarely disappointed with the Seafood at Taste of China, not cheap by Downtown standards, but worth it.-----

Thanks for letting me know. Sorry to hear about the overcooked lobster at Casa Imperial.
I'm hoping to have dinner at Taste of China at some point over the next two weeks.

It was a good experience. No problems with crowded tables or surly staff as reported here and elsewhere. Everything was just great . I got to order beef in black bean sauce and it was great. Unfortunately I wasn't paying attention to the names of the dishes the other 5 people ordered but when we we were finished the plates were clean.
One sour note was the nearby Green P parking. Get a ticket from a machine which says take it with you and follow the instructions to pay via machine. I never saw the machine which should have been near the elevator or at least visible somewhere. Fortunately there was an attendant in a booth on the way out or I might still be there.
