Anyone tried Grilled Peas?

Really good. Have done the peas this way about 6 times and everyone loves them. So easy when you are already cooking on the grill and best of all you don't have to shell them! I do use one of those grill pans with holes ow you have to be careful or they fall through.

    Thanks for posting about grilled peas. Remembering your post I made these. A nice change of pace and no shelling.

      So funny to see this post this morning--I did this last night and they were yummy. Just tossed in EVOO with S&P. grilled till shells were nicely charred and ate like edamame. And no grill pan--just put them cross-wise onto grate. all stayed on--or nearly!!

      I got the idea from some website (CH? Orangette?--I don't know where and my spologies for not giving the right credit where it's due) when I had been looking for a simple way to eat fresh fava beans. I tried that last week and those were REALLY delicious--same method, but when you eat them, of course you have to peel the inner bean. They are so tender, they just slip right out of their little jackets. WE slurped them up. Messy and delicious!!
