Whole pastrami

Looking to buy a whole pastrami and have it sliced to bring home for a party--ideally somewhere in the Greenwich Village/Chelsea area--can anyone suggest good sources? I'm not looking for hand-carved Katz's greatness here, just good machine-sliced pastrami....

  1. Murray's Cheese, or stop into Chelsea Market.

    There's also a Whole Foods in Chelsea, and a Citarella on 6th Ave. in the Village.

      If I'm not mistaken, Dickson's Farmstand at the Chelsea Market has a lamb pastrami that could be interesting.
