BYO on the Main Line

alonna Smith Jul 6, 2011 03:42 PM

I am looking for a BYO on the Main Line for Saturday, July 23rd. I would like the best food for the price. If it weren't for the price, I would choose Blackfish. Anyone have a sleeper they love?

$90 for two instead of $120 at Blackfish.

We always have a wonderful time at Sola in Bryn Mawr although I am not sure whether your price point of $90 includes tax and tip? If it does, you might be somewhat limited there since most entrees are in the high 20s, desserts are $8, and appetizers are generally around $12. In addition they have a modest corking charge. If the $90 doesn't have to cover tax and tip, you should be able to share an appetizer and a dessert, as well as two entrees within the $90. You can see their menu on-line by Googling Sola Bryn Mawr.

Quaint BYO In Narberth. All pasta are homemade and they offer fresh seafood and other meats. Def. worth a try!

Thanks for all your thoughts! We are going to Saffron in Ambler. It is an BYO Indian. I've been there once and was very impressed with their food. Speaking of Ambler, another good choice would have been Massa, a new Italian/Portuguese resto. I guess Ambler isn't technically the Mail Line, but close enough.
