Business dinner with a group of 7 in West Palm Beach

Will be staying at the Ritz-Carlton in West Palm Beach and taking business colleagues from Brazil and the UK to dinner one night. Would certainly like to leave the hotel and take our guests somewhere unique, with high-quality dishes and wine list, but hopefully no more than 10 or 15 miles away. High quality dishes and good service are important, as is a nice but not terribly noisy atmosphere. Any recommendations?

You're not too far away from Delray Beach and the wonderful 32 East! Unique, local and DELICIOUS!

Plus you could take A1A for a nice mansion spotting drive on the way down if you were heading to delray

32 East looks/sounds like an excellent option! Just left a voice mail to see if I can get a reservation. A scenic drive as well is a great idea. Thanks for the tips!

Stay local in WPB unless your clients really want to sit for a 20-30 minute ride to Delray.

Cafe Boulud is fantastic. I've been there on a half dozen occasions and only once was it just "good". All other visits were excellent in all aspects - food, service, atmosphere, etc. They also have a great outdoor area for an after dinner drink and a cigar. That's the spot, especially if entertaining international guests.

I think the OP is looking for an upscale power dinner type place and Havana would not fit the request. I will toss out some options that maybe other people can expand on. I don't know much about the high end places.

        Cafe Boulud
        Michelle Bernstein at the Omphoy
        Capital Grill
        Cafe Chardonnay

Thanks for the suggestions! I went ahead and made a reservation at Cafe Boulud, but of course nothing is set in stone at this point. The reviews online are all over the place.

If there were a favorite place with locals, more casual but consistently excellent food and service, that might be the way to go. Any suggestions along those lines much appreciated!

You can't go wrong with Cafe Chardonnay -- consistently good food and service with a good wine list.
