Thrifty's Circus Animal Ice Cream [from San Diego]

Anybody have tips on how to duplicate Thrifty's Circus Animal Ice Cream? They had 1.75 quarts at Rite Aid last month but now it's all gone. I tried using the Costco super premium vanilla and Circus Animal crackers which turned out good but there is something missing.

Is this a new Thrifty's flavor? I've never heard of it and I'm aThrifty's ice cream lover! Now I have to search for it.

It was flavor of the month I think back in July... I got hooked but have been unable to find it again in the 1.75 quart container. I did find some in the area where you buy by the cone and they told me I can buy either a cone or the 3 gallon container. It's my fav Thrifty flavor. It's really awesome!

any chance you thought to write down the ingredients listed on the carton before you tossed it...?

I took a glance at the list and it was your typical stuff : milk, sugar, enriched wheat flour, etc... I didn't save it as I wasn't planning on making it from scratch.

bummer - i've never had it, but i'm guessing there's a flavoring element in the ice cream base that you're missing. take a look the next time you're at Rite Aid. no need to write it down - you can just snap a picture of the label with your phone.

I have still been unable to locate the 1.75 quart containers but I was able to buy a 3 gallon container. Its $39.99 but worth it. This ice cream is so awesome!

I am not a sweets person but that sounds awsome. Yes I know not a help.
