what dishes do your order at Rol San- at both dim sum time and at dinner time?
Which dishes do you like to order the most at Rol San?
Haven't been for a while, and I'd like to try some dishes I might not have ordered before.
On the dim sum menu, I usually order the nor mai gai, the Buddha's Feast cheung fun, lo bak go, jin deui, and sometimes the steamed cake roll.
I haven't been for dinner, but want to try the Crispy Beef with Spicy Honey Ginger Sauce (aka Ginger Beef) that's been mentioned in past threads.
Thanks for any suggestions.

bump...
Finally trying the Ginger Beef at Rol San. What else should I get, besides fried pork neck?

Fried pork neck.
I haven't tried many of their other dishes, but from what I have tried, it's all pretty mediocre, especially their dim sum offerings.
Except for fried pork neck. That is fantastic.

re: trane
When they are busy, their chicken feet are fantastic - later in the day or evening they can tend to get soggy. Love their black pepper beef ribs. They also make a great efu noodle off the main menu. In my opinion if Rol San is mediocre for downtown dim sum, then the rest of the places are disgusting. I happen to think that Rol San is most always fresh and generous with meat fillings and very well flavoured. Of course this is within its price category!
