Curate is working for us
Overindulged at Curate. Had about 6 different menu items, each one different in flavor and texture. Made a point to spend but not to overspend. Turned out to be one of the most enjoyable meals we've had in a long time. White aspagagus in citrus vinaigrette, Patatas Bravas, Chistorra con Patatas, all standouts. Service was good although it seemed as thought the server was intent on entering the order correctly instead of making sure we were well taken care of (sat at bar). Future visit will include being seated at a table and orderng sangria. Well-prepared food in an energetic atmosphere on a bustling downtown street will keep this place busy. I hope so and will continue to dine here.

Danna,
It's tapas, so it's the same. Here's an excellent article giving you some background on the family behind Curate ~ http://www.citizen-times.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2011307030040
Or you can read the book to learn more about the Chef, Katie Button ~ http://www.seriouseats.com/2011/03/se...
Asheville is absolutely amazing in the quality and variety of restaurant talent ~ if you're lucky enough to live in/near Asheville, you're lucky enough.
