  1. Cafe Souleio in Saskatoon is a good one. They have a bistro in the front of the shop and a market/foodie items in the back, as well as a deli and bakery. And the building is gorgeous!

I like Souleio as well but am very disappointed that they carry far fewer exotic spices than they used to.

The Bulk Cheese Warehouse on Broadway is my favourite food shop in Saskatoon - many cheeses, fresh pastas and sauces, condiments, meats such as duck breast and great lamb. Foie gras and duck fat, too.

    2. Christie's Bakery in Saskatoon. The one I'm familiar with is Christie's Il Secondo on Broadway.

Calories also has some retail items.

      1. In Winnipeg:

Crampton's — farmer's market type place with amazing foodie frozen meat section and wide variety of local produce.

G.A. Andrews — I believe Winnipeg's last full-service gourmet food store. Deli, wine, prepared foods, great cheese, good veggies, Brianna's dressing ... yum.

I end up getting most of my cheese at Fenton's at the Forks, though.

Piazza De Nardi — I don't really shop there, but I hear there's good Italian food.

Lots of foodie foods at our health food stores — Organza, Vita Health, Organic Planet.

        1. In Regina:

          Italian Star Deli

          Bulk Cheese Warehouse

          Dad's Organic Market
