New Mexican as in from New Mexico
Just moved up from ABQ and was wondering if there was anywhere in town to get my green chile fix.

Two restaurants in Chicago claim to represent cuisine from the Land of Enchantment:
Abiquiu Cafe, in Lincoln Park - http://www.abiquiucafe.com
Flo, in West Town - www.eatatflo.com
I also encourage you to try our restaurants specializing in provincial Mexican cuisine, which are a bit different from anything you may be accustomed to. The best include: Topolobampo/Frontera Grill, Mexique, Mundial Cocina Mestiza, Mixteco Grill. Check out the menus on their websites to get a better idea of their culinary style:

Sallust, I'd be enthralled to hear about your experience if you get to Abique or Flo before me.
Looks like they both at least OFFER red or green. Whether they know how to make it or not is a different story.

I can tell you that Flo's is fairly good - and I really like their red chile - you can buy it to go by the quart. If I recall, the owners are related to the owners of The Shed in Santa Fe.
