Celebrating the 4th in Shanghai

heinous Jul 3, 2011 06:33 PM

Hi, all! I'm a Chinese-American Chower from LA visiting Shanghai for the week. I'd love to find a great expat bar to celebrate the 4th tonight with some fellow Americans! I've been on the road for a few weeks and would like to drink some beers and sing some patriotic songs with a fun crowd.

I'm staying in the Jing An area, near the Paramount and the big temple. But I'm willing to cab it anywhere for a good old time.

Thanks for any suggestions! :)

Boxing Cat Brewery (2 locations) would probably have the most yanks in a celebratory mood. Check www.smartshanghai for locations- they are about 15 minutes from each other on the same street so if one is dead, go ahead and check out the other. Have fun!

I should think there's a .com extension at the end of the URL. Try:
