Low sugar sorbet, frozen yogurt and ice cream?

I am trying to make low sugar desserts with a new ice cream maker. Am also interested in keeping it low fat. Any ideas and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

  1. I have made wonderful frozen desserts with all kinds of berries, water and a little or no sugar, adding cream or coconut milk sometimes. Some people use splenda, which I never do as I'd rather taste the fruit. my favorite is blackberry mango with coconut milk or without.

    1. I make ice cream all the time. But I can't stand low-sugar or low fat ice creams.

      But if you must, here's a thread with some good options for you.

        I did see that before I posted. My concern was that the previous post talked about what didn't work. My takeaway was try arrowroot or tapioca. But no one had a low sugar, low fat frozen dessert that worked well. Anyone out there?
