Pre cruise dinner Miami in Sept. w/large group, help!

Local Miami Foodies,
Any suggestions on where I can make reservations for a pre cruise dinner?
We will be a group of about 25 - 30. It will be on a Saturday night so I'd like to contact the restaurant asap to make sure they can accomadate us.
I was going to suggest The Crab House for their seafood buffet. I went a few years ago and loved it, but after reading the lastest reviews,it sounds like it's gone down hill!
Would love a water view but am openminded ( though leaning towards somewhere that does seafood.)
Most of us are staying on MB or near the port so some place everyone can get to without paying too much for a cab would help too.
Nice place, good food, moderate price, nice I asking too much??!!
We're a group that takes an annual cruise together and we only see each other once a year so would like to start the week off right.....thanks,any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

  1. Los Ranchos in Bayside.

    1. For seafood, I'd go to Altamare in Miami Beach's South Beach, but they wouldn't have the view.

But if the view is also important, I would check out either Area 31 or Zuma in downtown Miami's Epic hotel which is close by the port. Area 31 is the 16th floor seafood restaurant and Zuma is the riverside Japanese restaurant that naturally would have a lot of seafood offerings.

Or for a "fun" and dress-down atmosphere with seafood and a view (no indoor seating), I've heard decent things about Largo Bar & Grill in Bayside mall in downtown Miami.

      Area 31
