Good moderately priced eats between New Buffalo and Bellaire

ddfry3 Jul 2, 2011 12:39 PM

I will be driving next week from St. Louis area (MO) to Grand Rapids. Looking for good, moderately priced lunch stop between the two places, and also between Grand Rapids and Bellaire the next day. That second trip is not long, I may just eat at my destination, I know Bellaire/Elk Rapids/Traverse City have plenty of choices. It's the first part of the trip I am most interested in. No chains, please. I do know the scene around New Buffalo pretty well and I know there are choices here a short drive off 1-94 (thinking Redamak's!), but would welcome other ideas. Reasonable to me means $10-15 for lunch with tip.

Thanks hounds!

Be sure to stop by Tabor Hill Winery in Buchanan. They have a beautiful restaurant with stunning views of the vineyards. Lunch or a glass of wine would be lovely. Be sure to check out their hours before you go - they are not always open! www.taborhill.com
