Dog-friendly outdoor dining in DC?

kukubura Jul 2, 2011 06:06 AM

I should have asked this a few days ago but there's the possibility that we might be looking for a casual place for late-lunch or dinner tonight where we can sit outdoors with our dog. Any favorites in the District?

Even if it ends up not being for today it would be good to know some options for the future. Thanks!

I haven't been there myself but Art and Soul has an outside patio with a "doggie menu" and it usually gets good reviews on this board.

That sounds perfect! Thanks for the tip! (and our pooch Franka Potente thanks you too)

along 18th street, lots of people bring their dogs to Rosemary's Thyme...they just sit on the otherwise of the fence next to your table.

It was too hot to sit outside so we just skeedaddled back to Bmore, but Art & Soul is definitely on the agenda for our next DC-with-doggie excursion.
