New recipe contest: win $2000 for your best recipe using beer!

[cross-posting with home cooking board]

Calling all home cooks and beer lovers and home beer-cooking lovers: we've got a sponsored recipe contest starting today that calls for your best recipe using Blue Moon beer. Check it out: http://www.chow.com/contests/blue-moo...

The main exciting thing is that the contest winner will win $2000, and runners up (three of them) get $1000 each. Nothing to sneeze at.

The second exciting thing is that we've revamped our recipe upload tool, it's MUCH easier to use -- just three simple steps and then you're done. So try it out -- go to the contest page, upload your recipe, and tell us how you like it.

And good luck!

[edited to add: contest rules require that entrants are over 21 and live in the US, but not in California.]

I don't think Chow should be allowed to spam Chowhound.

I didn't realize at first that this was from Chow, and I actually reported it!

        As you should.

The 'add an ingredient' and 'add a step' buttons for stages 2 and 3 (respectively) of the contest entry are not working. In either Chrome or Internet Explorer. I can add up to 3 ingredients but no more. Please address this.

Blue Moon is annoyingly served with fruit, I have to ask for Blue Moon unfruited.

And I would not sell my braised goat down the river (get it- moon river) with anything less than Guinness. Deal me out.

I once made a killer meatloaf after "using" about 6 beers, so of course I don't remember what I put in it.
However, I don't think this is what you mean.

You push the + sign to add ingredients- why is everyone so negative. This is for fun!!

At the time people were writing, the + sign didn't work. They fixed it.
