Zake's for Dinner....WOW

I often go to Zake's for lunch during the year but haven't been for dinner in ages....So...last nite we went early and had a seat out in the newly opened enclosed porch area. EVERYTHING was wonderful....
we sampled gazpacho, lobster mac and cheese, mahi mahi tacos, hummous and salad . The food really was spectacular and beautifully presented at a very reasonable price. They also have a 3 course $25 dinner with a free glass of wine. Service was friendly and efficient! All added up to a wonderful dining experience.

Can't wait to go back again soon to try other things on the menu (tho I think the lobster mac and cheese will have to be repeated!!)

Hi ilovesummer. We seem to go in the same dining circles at times. Tried Zake's for the first time about a month ago. Four of us had a table on the front porch and all of our appetizers, entrees and shared desserts were wonderful. On the list to make a return trip very soon.

Had not been to Zake's since the front porch was opened. Great addition! The service and food were excellent and the pastries were as remembered, great and more European, as in not overly sweet. I did have the Lobster Mac & Cheese with Orzo which was IMHO the best M&C I have ever had, perfect. Warning . this M&C is the polar opposite to heavy pasty standard which some prefer.

Thank you for the reminder about Zake's. I need to get back there. The last few times we were there it was for breakfast.
