Natural History Museum

I'm spending Saturday at the Natural History Museum, and am looking for places within walking distance. Does anyone have any recommendations for:

1. A good Israeli restaurant

or

2. A casual, kid-friendly place for lunch.

      The good "Israeli" restaurant on the UWS is closed on Saturdays.

        It's been a while, but a walk thru the park to go to the NHM was always followed by a visit to Fine and Shapiro's.

          The Shake Shack is very nearby, on Columbus at 77th.
