Recomendations in Sevierville, TN
My family and I will be vacationing down in the Smokies this year. We'll be spending a couple of days in Sevierville at the big waterpark. Are there any family-friendy Southern-cooking restaurants there besides the Apple Barn (I already know we're going there) worth recommending? We're a family of 4 with two 9-year-old boys. I'm looking for good food that won't break the bank. Thanks.
On the north side of Sevierville, near the movie theater is a Buddy's BBQ. Your most reasonable approach is to get shredded pork to go with several sides. Buddy's with several locations across a multi-county area is a default restaurant for a lot of us.
Old Mill is in Pigeon Forge, just over the bridge is Jim Gray studios, and he has been an important local artist for forty years (I am that old.)
The Krogers in both Sevierville and PF have delis with food to go and can make your budget go a lot farther.
