Galbani Mozzarella

Anybody has bought this Italian mozzarella in Manhattan? or on line? Supposedly it's good. Thanks.

    my friend just brought some up from Oregon to Vancouver BC for us - she usually shops at Trader Joes so maybe that is where she got it but I did not ask for confirm on this. regardless, it is amazing. We had the plain bocconcini packed in water (in a tub) -- the phone number on the tub is 1 800 572 6818

      I had not heard of this before but looking at their site, it appears to be an "industrial" cheese made in the US and not in Italy.

      My question to you would be this: In a city where it is possible to buy excellent mozzarella on the day of manufacture, why would you opt for a supermarket-like product?
