suggestion for resto for Mtl Foodies
Will be taking my two young adult sons for dinner during Summerlicious Festival. We need a resto suggestion close to King/John and Island Airport for an early dinner that will accommodate a vegetarian. Decor and service is as important as food. Don't like comfort food menus....love over-the-top plate presentation.

Are you looking for a place that offers a Summerlicious Menu? If so, then Colborne Lane, George, Origin are not taking part in it. .. so unless you want to drop lots of extra coin I would scratch those.
At this point, a lot of the high end popular places will already be cooked up (but you could call and try, or maybe there will be a cancellation) (ie.. Canoe... etc)
I would check out the Summerlicious site, look at the menu's and then maybe narrow it down to some choices and then ask for opinions?

I would look at either of Claudio Aprile's restuarants: Colborne Lane or Origin. Note that CL is much more expensive and has more of the "over the top" plating that you are looking for, Origin is more casual, but the atmosphere is great. Both are within walking distance of Union station and Porter Airlines has a regular, free shuttle bus that will take you from Union to the airport.
George is another fine-dining option in the area.
All of the above are very good about accommodating vegetarians.

re: TorontoJo
I would certainly second both Colborne Lane and George.
I love Origin, but I am not sure it will live up to what it seems you are looking for, but it does have great atmosphere and is a lot of funI would also add Nota Bene
