Food processor cookbook suggestions needed

free sample addict aka Tracy L Jun 29, 2011 09:32 PM

My coworker just bought a Cuisinart FP. She is retiring next week and I'd like to give her a food processor cookbook as a gift. She's a traditional Chinese home cook and she has grandchildren for whom she plans to make nut butters and other treats. I assume she'll do some baking and other non-Chinese preparations. I've always had an FP so I never needed a cookbook beyond what came w/my Cuisinart, but I get questions from other friends how to convert pie crust, bread dough recipes etc. for food processors. I assume she might need this help too. If anyone has some ideas please let me know. Thanks.

My favorite is Jean Anderson's "Process This" - it's been updated for the bigger processors out now, and Jean Anderson is a heck of a cookbook and food writer. One of the best.

I have an old book at home - will poster the author/title later this evening - that I used a lot and it has many good recipes.
