15 Fox Place, Jersey City

Has anyone been there? I would really like an honest opinion of the food and the dining experience.

I would like to treat 3 of my friends for favors they have done for me. 15 Fox Place came to mind because it is unique, but I want to be sure the food is good and worth the expense.

  1. If the name of the restauant is the same as the address, it must be very trendy.

    1. Is that the italian place that is in a house? I have been wanting to go. A friend of ours loves it.

Yes, it is the place in a house. They have the "dining experience" on thur,
Fri and Sat. ( Price fix at $90. and a set menu) I hear the serve 14 different items. On Mon, Tue, WEd., they have patio dining only and they offer a limited menu of pizza, salad and pasta.

I would really like to see a review from somone who has been there.

I haven't been there in many years..actually the last time I was there the price was $65. I was there twice. Food was very good and plentiful. You literally feel like you're at grandma's house for sunday dinner. Reservations are a must as the seating is limited. There were many courses and honestly I really can't remember them all. I remember a polenta with sausage, pasta, and the main was filet mignon that night and many more in between. Parking is tough and there is no sign on the house other than the address "15"....definitely a unique experience and worth it. BYO as well....the Budnicks are wonderful hosts!

      2. I have been there. It is not trendy at all. The food was great. You have to go hungry. I think there was something to the effect of 16 courses. They are small portions. Pace yourself! There are a lot of great courses but do not get too zealous with ones you like. Some of my favorites were mini pizza frites, stuffed hot peppers, the aforementioned polenta with sausage
