Hermitage Inn West Dover Vt
we had a fantastic meal at the hermitage in west Dover vt last night. We were one of two groups in the dining room, the other being a larger family. Short nicely designed menu. We started withba glass of Riesling and a hendriks cucumber martini and a generous platter of four Vermont cheeses, all of superb quality. A blue similar to Roquefort a great parmesan style, a creamy brie and Gouda accompanied by a strawberry compute that tasted of only fruit, plenty for app and desert. Amuse was a hamachi with sour cherry tarragon and evil, for dinner she had a tasty tender rib eye with expertly fried shoestring potatoes, best steak in a while. I had steamed sea bass with garlic and Ginger brown rice and baby bok choy that was better than any version I've ha in Chinatown . Beautiful setting, competent service made this a wonderful dinner,
