As of right now,

#1 Cambridge Common

Not sure it gets better than this one...

#2 Highland Kitchen

Can anyone recommend some solid bloody mary spots? I mean a place that whether or not breakfast/brunch is worth it....the beverage makes the morning.

    East Coast Grill, hands down.

    Highland Kitchen is yummy.

    Fat Cat's is good, too.

Union Bar and Grille used to be my favorite Bloody Mary, spicy and served with Tomolives. I haven't been there in a few months though.

I'll start with my general disclaimer that I hate the "bloody mary bar" (a la East Coast Grill). If I wanted to make my own bloody mary, I would be at home, making my own bloody mary... not going to a bar and giving you $9 to hand me a glass with vodka in it.

That being said, my hands-down favorite bloody mary in the Boston area is at Deep Ellum. They use a bit of wasabi to up the spice, and serve it with a pickled green bean. Great stuff.

I've also been impressed with the bloody mary at Foundry on Elm, although consistency has been an issue. Sometimes it's great; sometimes it's just OK.

I'll agree that Highland Kitchen is also good, but I'd put it at #3 in this list. I haven't tried Cambridge Common.
