Mexican on Cape Cod
I was hoping to have El Guapo in Brewster cater an event this October, but learned they close on Columbus Day weekend. So, now I'm looking for an alternative. Anejo in Falmouth looks great, but is a little far away. I'm not totally set on Mexican, but am looking for something reasonably priced for about 30-40 people. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Circling back on this. We used El Guapo's to cater our wedding rehearsal dinner in Brewster last week. It was excellent! Kyle, the owner, was great and the food was delicious. We picked up the platters from them and the portions were over the top. We ordered food for 25 guests, but could have easily fed 35-40. We got chips/guac/salsa; assorted burritos, quesadillas, and enchiladas; sides of Mexican corn, sauteed veggies, and rice. Great comments from our friends and families. The cost was about $400 total, which is a good deal at $16/person for a rehearsal dinner, plus tons of leftovers! I'm so happy this worked out and that Guapo's was open this late in the season. Will definitely be patronizing them next summer!

re: vinoduo
I'm a vendor at the Harwich farmers market and the word from locals and tourists alike is Andale is worth the visit. As far as prices go, although some places might stretch my budget I know when it's worth it.(Think omakase at the sushi bar of Misaki)

You might check out B2 Burrito Bistro near Panera Bread in Hyannis.
Not sure if they'd deliver to Brewster, but we picked up a lunch for 35 a lttle while ago and folks were happy with the quanity and quality.
I wouldn't rave about its "Mexican-ness," but the food is good, there is a nive variety to choose from and the prices are reasonable.
If you stop by to check it out, might as well check with Panera, too. I'm sure thay'd be glad to work with you.

re: seaville
Skip Panera...you can get that anywhere, but Burrito Bistro is a good idea for decent low cost local Mexican-ish Chow.
How about buying a bunch of New England style hot dog rolls ($1.49 for six at Stop and Shop), plus a few pounds of cooked lobster meat at Joe's Fish and Lobster at the canal in Sandwich (usually $10 less per pound than elsewhere) and one bunch of celery plus a small jar of mayo and make lobster rolls for everyone. They'll think you s[ent a mint and it will actually be quite reasonable.

Mexican on the Cape leaves LOTS to be desired (although I've yet to make it to Anejo). El Guapo is decent, but anything but cheap, and not worth the tarff in my opinion. Wish I could rec an inexpensive caterer, but none come to mind. How about a Greek motif from George's Pizza?
