Favorite snack mix recipe
Often, I have to bring some sort of snack mix to an event that doesn't require heating or chilling. I mean along the lines of your basic Party Mix or Ranch'd Oyster Crackers. Would you share your favorite snack mix recipe?

Original 1980s recipe for Chex mix:
8c Chex - rice, corn, and/or wheat
1c dry roasted peanuts
6 T butter, melted
1.5 T worcestershire
1 T seasoned salt
Same basic method as the "modern" recipe: mix wet stuff and add to dry stuff. Bake 1 hr at 250, stirring every 15 min.My brother would boycott Thanksgiving if my mom didn't make this!

I love the sweet and spicy Union Square nuts. I often make them only with cashews. I find that walnuts aren't popular and the coating doesn't stick as well to almonds. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ni...
