Where to find pisco sour mix in GTA and surrounding area.

Hello,

My inlaws are south american and recently had a relative bring some up. Well its gone and we are all wanting more of it.

We have the pisco, we just need the sour component.

Willing to travel a ways to get it.

HELP! :)

All you need is lemon juice, ice, sugar, egg white and a blender (and the pisco, of course). There are several recipes but I find the most basic the best. I second the question about local pisco; I haven't seen it at the LCBO in years.

yep, this stuff was brought with the relative from South America but not enough mix... :(

The problem us that the pisco is not the same as a lemon. Ergo, you can come close by using lemons, but it's not the same. You might do some googling for recipes.

Did your in-laws bring up the Pisco too? I've been looking Pisco for a while now (read years). The LCBO site doesn't show any in my area. I like it in the traditional sour but it makes a really interesting replacement for Tequila in a Margarita.
