An interesting/slightly disturbing graph from Nat Geo.
Way more than I had imagined. At the same time, I can't help but ask, "So what?" Okay, nature likes diversity and less variety means more vulnerabilities, but initial thoughts are that the ones that are still going strong were the ones that farmers favored - The stronger and tastier variety. So, other than some super-plague that targets a popular type (Looking at you, bananas!), what's the concern?
