Louisville Group Dinner - Girls - Downtown

I'm planning a group dinner for 6-8 girls in downtown Louisville. It's a bachelorette weekend for my younger sister that will be spent around 4th Street Live.

I am familiar with some of the great restaurants in downtown Louisville, but am worried about being cost conscious for the group, mainly comprised of 25ish year old girls. Proof on Main, Mayan Cafe, etc. all are great but I'd like to stick to entrees that are $13-23 instead of $19 + . I think that's just being fair to the girls, who are all traveling.

I know I could just go safe and tell them to go to the Spaghetti Factory but I'm certain there has to be a fun eatery, close to downtown, where they can spend les than $20 on an entree. Suggestions?

I have a variety of personal favorites in and around Frankfort and Bardstown roads but the bride wants to keep it close to downtown. Any ideas are welcome.

  1. Please do not go to spaghetti factory under any circumstances, unless you are under 10 or over 90. There are many choices to be found at There are a few cranks on there (who are easy to spot and should be ignored) but most of the information is quite helpful.

      BIG +1 on

Hillbilly Tea at 120 S. 1st St is a super fun, funky, girly place. Not super sophisticated, but still great.

Vincenzo's? 732 Social? The Blind Pig?

    2. Harvest restaurant is a good choice. Also North End Cafe is close enough to consider.
