Hey everyone, any suggestions for some good places to eat in the La Canada area? I'm not really interested in having a steak tonight, so I'm taking Taylor's off the list. Any other food that anyone would recommend?

Thanks!

lots of positive reviews here previously--and $5 corkage. (i live in la canada, and unless you want faux mexican, there's really nothing in town.)

Although it's too late for tonight, in the future you may want to consider Dish which has good breakfests except for the fact that the management refuses to offer real maple syrup. The pancakes and cornmeal jonnycakes with apple wood smoked bacon were very tasty but I had to whip out my own flask of real maple syrup. Yea, I know it's tacky but I hate the fake stuff! When the owner/manager asked how the food was I suggested that they offer real maple syrup, charge extra if they must, and I got a long lecture about how expensive it is and how they couldn't!

For lunch, I like their burger, thick and tasty patty, cooked as you order it. They didn't give me a hard time when I ordered it rare.

Too late for the OP, but Divina Cucina on Verdugo between Honolulu and Broadview is one of my favourite Italian restaurants. Also, down just a little further on Verdugo is La Cabañita, fantastic Mexican place.
