if you've been through the various threads, everyone has their favorites in the Ghetto in Rome. Here are mine:
Sora Margherita: A real hole-in-the-wall. Literally. Very good for fried things like artichokes and zucchini blossoms, but also great hand made pastas. They also make a typical Roman Jewish dish of Sardines and Endive, which I love
Giggetto: I love this place (although others on this forum think it's touristy). Besides typical Roman Jewish dishes, like Carciofi alla Giudea, they have a fantastic Caccio e Pepe. Save room for deserts, which are made by one of the family who has the bakery next door, Dolce Roma.
Beppe e i Suoi Formaggi: A newcomer to the Ghetto, they have some of the best cheeses in town. Stop by here for a pre dinner glass of wine and cheese tasting in their tasting room.
Boccione: The 'jewish bakery'. Known for their addictive fruit cake.
Have a great trip!
